Players of the week:Chih-Hsien Chiang. Chiang had a terrific week as he busted out of a season long slump with a .375 average this week and flashing some power with 1 2B, 1 3B, and a HR. He'll need to keep up this type of production if he hopes to salvage his season.Hung-Wen Chen. Chen posted an outstanding start against Huntsville striking out 8, walking none, and allowing only one run in 7 innings. His strikeout rate is still on the low side for the season, but his control has proven to be pretty good.
Troubling performance: Shen-An Kuo. After a promising start to the season, Kuo was badly lit up in his last three appearances, giving up 3 HRs. It remains to be seen whether this was just a bad week or something more negative like a possible injury.
